Use the contact form and choose Correction. Include the story title or URL, the statement you believe is wrong, the correct information, and a reliable supporting source when available.

What happens next

We review the request, check the original sourcing, and make an appropriate change when warranted. Significant factual corrections receive a visible note. Small spelling, grammar, formatting, and style changes may be made without a note when they do not alter meaning.

Updates are different

A story may be updated as events develop or new information becomes available. The page should show an updated date when the change is meaningful.
